Job summary

New Braunfels ISD is seeking a full-time transportation leader to direct the district's bus fleet and maintenance operations in New Braunfels, Texas. You will oversee safety, budgeting, and compliance while ensuring efficient service for students and staff across the district.

Responsibilities include route planning, incident response, and maintenance management, with emphasis on Crisis Management planning and adherence to federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prefer two years of supervisory experience in transportation operations, safety management, or crisis management.
• Experience with public school district transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage district's transportation and vehicle maintenance program.
• Oversee maintenance of all district-owned vehicles and ensure safe operation of the fleet.
• Develop programs to promote a safe and orderly school and bus environment.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal safety statutes and district policies.
• Develop and revise Crisis Management Plan and related procedures.
• Coordinate routes, schedules, and transportation services for activities and programs.
