We offer paid training, a comprehensive benefits package, and a $2,000 sign-on/retention bonus, with a consistent daytime schedule Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates must hold a California CDL with Passenger Endorsement or be able to obtain the DMV credential (VDDP) within 60 days, pass pre-employment

Qualifications

• Paid training provided.
• Valid California Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement (CDL-P) required.
• Ability to obtain DMV credential (VDDP) within 60 days to drive developmentally disabled persons.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses in Marin County to transport riders safely.
• Assist passengers, including those using wheelchairs, and secure wheelchairs as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while on duty.

• $2,000 Sign-On & Retention Bonus! Earn $1,000 after 90 days and another $1,000 after one year of employment.

Requirements

• Completion of paid training with full attendance
• Valid California Commercial Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement
• Ability to obtain (or already possess) a DMV credential, VDDP Certificate, within 60 days to drive developmentally disabled persons (VDDP)
• Friendly, reliable, and committed to excellent customer service
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) in accordance with company and insurance standards.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, secure wheelchairs, and assist passengers
• Availability for training in San Rafael, CA , typically 8:00 AM5:00 PM for 8-10 business days
• One professional reference required
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing random testing per federal regulations

Compensation And Benefits

• Starting at $28/hour
