Vivalon seeks compassionate Special Needs Attendants to support adults with disabilities during transportation in Santa Rosa, CA. You will work with professional drivers to ensure safe, dignified travel and meaningful community connections.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week on a Monday–Friday schedule. Paid training is provided, and a commute stipend helps with the 5-day San Rafael session. Join a team that values service and community impact.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Valid California Driver's License or California ID Card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Attend a 5-day paid training program in San Rafael, CA (commute stipend provided).
• Two professional references.
• Ability to pass a background check for a safety-sensitive position.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and comply with random testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and assisting clients during transit.
• Supporting drivers with loading and unloading of passengers.
• Using wheelchair securements, safety restraints, and seat belts.
• Providing compassionate support to individuals with disabilities.
• Communicating passenger needs to drivers and management.
• Maintaining professional, respectful interactions with clients and coworkers.

What You'll Do

As a Special Needs Attendant, you'll help create a safe, positive, and respectful transportation experience for our passengers by:

• Supervising and assisting clients during transit
• Supporting drivers with the safe loading and unloading of passengers
• Properly using wheelchair securements, safety restraints, and seat belts
• Providing compassionate support to individuals with disabilities
• Communicating passenger needs and concerns to drivers and management
• Maintaining professional, respectful, and positive interactions with clients, coworkers, and community members
• Following all health, safety, and transportation procedures
