Job summary

Radiant Senior Living in Tacoma, WA is looking for an Activities Assistant to help plan, develop, and lead engaging activity programs for residents. You will encourage participation, create a warm, fun atmosphere, and support transportation needs for resident outings.

• Must have a valid driver''s license and a clean driving record to drive resident outings
• Ability to physically assist residents; may require lifting and bending

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs
• Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activity programs
• Create a warm, positive atmosphere of warmth and fun for residents
• Provide safe, courteous transportation for outings and events
• Ensure vehicle pre-trip inspections are performed prior to each trip
• Be a team player and assist in the activities department as needed

What Makes You a Great Candidate

• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of an excellent driving record and meet Company auto policy requirements in order to drive the van/bus for resident outings
• Ability to physically assist residents in need. May require lifting and bending
