Job summary

Radiant Senior Living in Jacksonville, OR seeks a part-time Activities Aide to brighten residents' days. Join a care-centered culture and help plan, develop, and lead engaging activity programs that promote happiness and meaningful social interaction.

You will encourage participation, provide safe transportation for outings, perform pre-trip vehicle checks, and support the activities team with warm, compassionate service to our seniors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and proof of an excellent driving record.
• Ability to physically assist residents and lift/bend as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering activity programs for residents.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and outings.
• Provide safe, courteous transportation for resident outings and pre-trip vehicle checks.
• Be a team player and support the activities department when needed.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU WILL MAKE

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs
• Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activity programs
• Create a positive atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and fun.
• Provide safe, courteous transportation service
• Ensure vehicle pre-trip inspections are done prior to each trip
• Be a team player and assist in the activities department when there are no transportation needs

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT CANDIDATE

• Compassionate, patient, and kind, and have a heart for working with senior adults
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of an excellent driving record and meet Company auto policy requirements in order to drive the van/bus for resident outings
