Job summary

Children of America, Inc. is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children to educational programs and ensure daily vehicle safety checks are performed. You will implement COA safety procedures under guidance from the School Director and represent the organization with care, compassion, and professionalism.

The role emphasizes nurturing transportation experiences, interaction with children and families, and maintaining reliable service across COA locations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible with hours and work schedule.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.

Minimum Requirements

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $19.00 (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity) This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
