Job summary

Children of America, Inc. is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children aged 6 weeks to 12 years between educational programs across COA locations. You will perform daily vehicle safety checks and adhere to state transportation regulations, guided by our School Director.

A caring, patient demeanor is essential to support children’s development. Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexible with hours and work schedule
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $16-17 (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity) This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
