Job summary

Children of America, Inc. is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children between educational programs and support our nurturing environment.

You will perform daily safety checks and follow COA procedures under guidance from the School Director, ensuring care and patience for every child. The role requires a valid driver's license with a clean record, knowledge of transportation regulations, and a flexible schedule.

• Knowledge of state and local transportation regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible with hours and work schedule.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a bus or van between educational programs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Implement company safety procedures with guidance from the School Director.
• Exhibit care, compassion, and patience with children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe transportation experience.
• Represent COA positively with children, families, and staff.

As a Bus Driver, you play a vital role in safely transporting children while supporting our mission to enhance their developmental growth and learning experiences.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $17.79-19.21 (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity) This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
