Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Burn Unit ICU Nurse to join our team. In this role you’ll care for patients with burn injuries, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team and delivering advanced wound care, pain management, and critical monitoring.

With a focus on compassionate family-centered care, you’ll educate patients and families, support recovery across stays of days to weeks, and participate in a hospital known for its trauma, burn center, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree required for RN licensure
• RN — valid nursing license required
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• ACLS certification within 30 days of start date; instructor preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety
• Perform procedures and medication administration, including wound care and dressing changes
• Educate patients and families with compassion to support recovery and informed decisions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
