Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bulk Manager to oversee bulk foods, packing, stocking, and merchandising. You will manage inventory, enforce safety rules, and lead a team to deliver high-quality products and service to hundreds of customers weekly.

You will coach staff, participate in performance reviews, and collaborate with the Store Manager on staffing and promotions. This role emphasizes efficiency, training, and a strong customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Dependable with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Know weekly ad items and guide customers to product locations; assist with housekeeping.
• Flexible schedule aligned to business needs (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Knowledge of personnel, margin, weekly sales reports and financial goals.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customers and team members.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for long periods; handle various duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bulk foods maintenance, packing, and stocking.
• Manage inventory, rotate products by date, and ensure accurate packaging and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team members.
• Provide high level of customer service in the Bulk department.
• Maintain clean and orderly Bulk area and stock merchandise as needed.
• Coach and evaluate team members; participate in performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire, and promote in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Address team concerns and manage disciplinary actions when needed.
• Create staffing schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Lead the team to deliver high-quality products and service.
