Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bulk Manager to oversee the bulk foods department, including packing, stocking, pricing, and presentation. You will lead a team, coach staff, manage scheduling, and ensure safety, quality, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced store.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager on staffing decisions, stay compliant with company policies, and drive best practices to deliver high-quality products and a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to know weekly ad items and direct customers to products across the store.
• Knowledge of personnel, margin, and weekly sales reports and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bulk department maintenance, packing, and stocking.
• Ensure bulk items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; bulk area clean and orderly.
• Lead and coach team members; conduct performance reviews and development discussions.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Create schedules and staffing levels to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate standards, policies, and product knowledge to team members.
• Act as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
