Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in California is hiring a Bulk Manager to oversee bulk foods maintenance, packing, stock, and pricing. You will lead a team, ensure accurate labeling, rotate inventory, and maintain a clean, compliant department.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail grocery with at least one year of managerial leadership, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and strong customer service. You’ll collaborate with the Store Manager on staffing, coaching, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• 1–2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of weekly ad items and directing product location throughout the store.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as the business changes, including nights and weekends.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods during a shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bulk foods maintenance, packing, and stocking.
• Pack, wrap, and price bulk items accurately and legibly.
• Order and maintain inventory, rotate products by codes, and follow sanitation programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, Weights & Measures and COOL regulations.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team members.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Maintain a clean, orderly Bulk area and proper packaging of items.
• Recruit, hire and promote in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Coach and develop team members; participate in performance reviews.
• Lead scheduling and staffing to maximize productivity.
• Serve as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
