Job summary

MATHESON is seeking a sales professional to establish new accounts and grow bulk gases and welding equipment within the Des Moines territory. You will manage safety PPE products and quote effectively, with profitability in mind, reporting to the Regional General Manager.

Required are 2–5+ years in industrial sales, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a proven ability to develop accounts and margins. MATHESON offers uncapped commissions, full benefits, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in industrial sales or related field.
• Experience in industrial gases, propane, welding supplies, or safety supplies preferred.
• Strong track record in sales development and account management.
• Understanding of profit margins and effective quoting.
• Professional presentation experience and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish new accounts and grow existing sales within the assigned territory.
• Sell bulk gases, welding equipment, safety and PPE products; manage accounts for profitability.
