Job summary

MATHESON is seeking a field sales professional to establish new accounts and grow sales of bulk gases, welding equipment, safety and PPE in the assigned protected territory. This role reports to the Regional General Manager.

We offer uncapped commissions, car allowance with paid mileage, comprehensive benefits, paid holidays and a 401(k) with company match. A strong track record in industrial sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in industrial sales.
• Preferably industrial gases, propane, welding or safety supplies.
• Proven track record in sales development and account management.
• Understanding of profit margins and effective quoting.
• Professional presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish new accounts and grow sales of bulk gases, welding equipment, safety and PPE.
• Maintain and grow existing customers within the assigned territory.
• Report to the Regional General Manager.
• Develop quotes and pursue profitable business opportunities.
