Job summary
Access, Inc. in West Point, NY is seeking an Assistant Building Systems Supervisor for Maintenance Services. This role will insure timely maintenance, supervise technicians, and coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders to ensure operational reliability.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, strong leadership experience, and the ability to enforce health and safety practices on site, including winter on-call shifts.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including plumbing, electrical, structural, HVAC and control systems.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience with centrifugal driven water chiller is a plus.
- Experience working with voltages greater than 120VAC.
Responsibilities
- Insure timely fulfillment of maintenance requests.
- Supervise maintenance techs.
- Coordinates projects with various stakeholders.
- Enforces Health and Safety protocols and practices.
- Maintain preventative maintenance records & report weekly.
- Recruitment, hiring and corrective actions when needed.
- Vendor negotiation and solicitation for bids for projects.
- Assist with snow removal and landscape for internal and contract sites when needed.
- Reports to Building Systems Supervisor.
