Job summary

Access: Supports for Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee building systems at the West Point, NY site. The role ensures timely maintenance requests are fulfilled, safety protocols are enforced, and projects are coordinated with stakeholders.

Hours are Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with occasional on-call in winter; rate is $27/hr plus benefits. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in building systems maintenance and supervisory experience at facilities or military sites.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including plumbing, electrical, structural, HVAC and Control systems.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience with voltages greater than 120vac is a plus.
• Competent computer skills (email, MS Word and Excel).

• Insure timely fulfillment of maintenance requests.
• Supervise maintenance techs.
• Coordinates projects with various stakeholders.
• Enforces Health and Safety protocols and practices.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records & report weekly.
• Recruitment, hiring and corrective actions when needed.
• Vendor negotiation and solicitation for bids for projects.
• Assist with snow removal and landscape for internal and contract sites when needed.
• Reports to Building Systems Supervisor.
