Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Facilities team for Summer 2026. You’ll work on state‑of‑the‑art facilities projects, focusing on HVAC and building mechanical systems, and be guided by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and designers.

You’ll build on coursework with exposure to project coordination, CAE software, data collection, and other hands‑on tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Interest in designing building mechanical systems (HVAC, piping) for facilities.
• Familiarity with Revit or other 3D software; authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support state‑of‑the‑art facilities projects focused on HVAC and building systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and receive mentoring from engineers, architects, and designers.
• Gain exposure to project coordination, CAE software, data collection, and documentation.
