Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Facilities team for summer 2026. If you are a Mechanical Engineering student with an interest in building mechanical systems, HVAC and piping utilities, this internship offers hands-on experience.

You will contribute to state-of-the-art facilities projects, work with a multidisciplinary team, and gain exposure to project coordination, CAD tools, data collection and real-world problem solving.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program
• Interest in designing building mechanical systems including HVAC and piping utilities
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (now or in the future)

Responsibilities

• Assist on state-of-the-art facilities projects focused on HVAC and building mechanical systems
• Support project coordination, CAD tooling usage, data collection, and multidisciplinary collaboration
