Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Facilities team for summer 2026. If you are a Mechanical Engineering major with an interest in building systems, this is the perfect opportunity for hands-on learning.

You'll work on state-of-the-art facilities projects focused on HVAC and building mechanical systems, mentored by engineers, architects, and designers. You'll gain exposure to project coordination, CAD software, data collection, and real-world problem solving.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program for Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in designing building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping utilities, for buildings and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers on HVAC/building systems projects.
• Support project coordination and data collection; learn CAD software and modeling tools.
