Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain and repair building systems at a major financial institution site in Plano, TX. You will handle preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections while ensuring safety and energy efficiency.

Strong CMMS and MS Office proficiency are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4–5 years of related experience, EPA/CFC certification, and the ability to meet physical demands of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of related experience.
• EPA/CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (lift 50 lbs, climb stairs).
• Ability to exercise judgment from multiple information sources.
• Experience with CMMS and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain energy management programs and optimize system efficiency.
• Support preventive maintenance and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Review building systems and inspections to meet design and environmental standards.
• Lead by example and mentor others in CBRE RISE values.
