Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain MEP systems in a Class A building. You will follow the Chief engineer's daily priorities, complete work orders with logs, and may supervise vendors during testing and tenant buildouts.

You’ll work with a property management team, participate in weekly meetings, and respond to emergencies with occasional overtime. Some shifts may require standby duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or BMS.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, controls, electrical, fire alarm and related systems.
• Inspect and service pumps, valves, electrical and mechanical devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and prioritize work orders with logs.
• Supervise vendors during testing and tenant buildouts when needed.
• Operate building systems and comply with safety regulations.
