CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building system operations across plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling. You will support preventive maintenance and repairs as part of the Engineering and Technical Services function.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, energy management, and implementation of preventive maintenance programs, with opportunities to apply in-depth knowledge and coach others within the CBRE team.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to obtain the New Jersey C2 Wastewater Operator License.

Aufgaben

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Maintain an energy management program to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance program to meet/exceed rated life and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; keep a clean and safe workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design capabilities.
• Apply knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values to build consensus.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
