United Wholesale Mortgage is seeking a Building Engineer to support the lead engineer and maintenance team across our Corporate Campus in Michigan. The role focuses on repairs, preventive maintenance, and building efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Boiler operations license is required.
• HVAC refrigerant license is required.
• Centrifugal chiller experience preferred.
• Fire panel experience preferred.
• Physical plant experience required.
• Ability to make independent and good judgement decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Must be detailed oriented with strong literacy and writing, documentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the building automation system.
• Provide preventative maintenance on the HVAC systems.
• Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment is properly installed and maintained.
• Inventory of critical building maintenance supplies.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• General repairs and maintenance.
• Perform all physical tasks required by the job.
