Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating/Building Engineer to keep our North Charleston facilities running at peak performance. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, boiler, and HVAC/Controls systems, with a strong focus on BAS programming and optimization.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in commercial building environments, CMMS experience, and the ability to work in 24/7 operations. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Electrical, Boiler, or HVAC/Controls in commercial buildings.
• Experience with electrical systems code compliance and boiler/HVAC maintenance.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex building systems.
• CMMS experience and 24/7 operations exposure.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, boiler, and HVAC/Controls systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, BAS, and control equipment.
• Monitor boiler operation, water treatment, and safety systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and motor controls throughout the facility.
• Work with BAS to optimize HVAC controls and sequences.
• Record readings and adjust parameters to ensure proper operation.
• Calibrate and test equipment; coordinate with contractors for maintenance work.
• Maintain inventory and support for facility services and purchases.
