Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a Building Science Project Engineer for Property Condition Assessments in Farmington Hills, MI. The role focuses on evaluating building systems, drafting due diligence reports, and liaising with clients and project teams.

The position is full-time with hybrid work and requires travel to project sites. A related engineering degree and 5+ years of experience in architecture/engineering/construction are preferred, along with strong writing and

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation to project sites.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate condition of building systems and provide repair recommendations.
• Conduct site reconnaissance, data compilation and project research (historical, regulatory).
• Prepare technical reports and quality appendices (maps, supporting docs).
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and communicate progress to PM and client.
• Provide solid recommendations considering potential impact on the transaction process.
• Coordinate changes in project scope as requested.
