Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Non-Licensed Building Engineer to efficiently operate and maintain MEP systems for assigned properties. The role covers rounds, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring energy systems, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with NFPA and local codes. On-site work with flexible timing and potential overtime as needed.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required; apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• Licenses/permits such as Journeyman/Master Electrician or Refrigeration Certification may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, VAV and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, pressure/temperature gauges, and control panels.
• Repair doors, ceilings, hand rails, floors, and other general repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards: filters, coils, belts, bearings, chemical treatments, and inspections.
• Inspect engine room and electrical rooms, verify exits and life safety compliance.
• Document activities and respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety training; wear uniform as required.
