Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales professional to drive sales of our building materials and installed services. You will support the Outside Sales team, coordinate deliveries, and manage paperwork while working closely with vendors to fulfill customer needs.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, are self-motivated, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment; construction experience is required and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential construction experience.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with initiative and drive.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide resolutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote Carter Lumber's full line of building materials and services.
• Maintain Outside Sales schedule and ensure timely deliveries and contract adherence.
• Communicate with Outside Sales Reps and coordinate with vendors to meet customer needs.
