Carter Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales support specialist to join our fast-paced team. You will provide sales and administrative support to the Outside Sales group, manage schedules, ensure timely deliveries, and help complete projects per contract.

With a minimum of 3 years in residential construction, you will communicate with sales reps, coordinate with vendors, and maintain records in our system. We value reliability, teamwork, and a customer‑first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential construction experience.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.

• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and administrative support to the Outside Sales team.
• Maintain the Outside Sales schedule and ensure timely material deliveries.
• Manage paperwork flow, maintain information databases, and create service requests in the POS system.
• Communicate with Outside Sales Reps and coordinate with vendors to meet customer needs.
