Rio Grande Co. in Denver, CO is seeking a Counter Sales Representative for the Comm Res Product Division. You will assist contractors, builders, and homeowners with product selection, pricing, and order coordination from inquiry to delivery.

Founded in 1893, Rio Grande Co. is a family-led distributor of building materials across Colorado. This role requires 2+ years in sales or customer service, English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred, and a professional, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of masonry, stone, stucco, rebar, and other building materials is highly preferred.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and basic sales software; experience with ERP systems a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers, phone callers, and email inquiries with product information, pricing, availability, and application.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of product lines, including masonry, stone, stucco, rebar, and other building materials.
• Maintain showroom displays, samples, and marketing materials in a clean, organized, and up-to-date manner.
• Build long-term customer relationships through reliable communication and exceptional follow-through.
• All other duties assigned.
