Rio Grande Co. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative - Division to support contractors, builders, and homeowners in Denver, CO. You will guide product selection, price guidance, and order coordination, partnering with Outside Sales and Yard Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience from inquiry to delivery.

Founded in 1893, Rio Grande Co. has served Colorado’s construction industry for over a century, offering natural stone, veneer, brick, and related products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inside sales or customer service in building materials or construction.
• Strong knowledge of masonry, stone, or brick products preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with computers and basic sales software; ERP experience a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers, phone callers, and email inquiries with product info, pricing, availability, and application.
• Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and close sales.
• Develop knowledge of product lines: natural stone, thin veneer, manufactured stone, brick.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to source materials and provide lead times.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to support accounts and maintain service quality.
• Maintain showroom displays, samples, and marketing materials.
• Track open orders and coordinate with Yard Operations for timely deliveries.
• Assist with material takeoffs and estimates as needed.
• Build long-term relationships through reliable communication and follow-through.
