A leading maintenance services provider is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for onsite work in Hercules, CA. The ideal candidate will perform general maintenance tasks including preventive upkeep, troubleshooting plumbing and electrical issues, and ensuring facility compliance. Candidates should have general maintenance skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to work autonomously. This position offers a pay range of $28-32/hr along with comprehensive benefits for employees working over 20 hours a week.

Qualifications

• Experience working in commercial buildings is highly desired.
• Must have general maintenance skills, such as use of hand tools and general repair.
• Experience with AMMS is a plus.

Building Maintenance Technician (ONSITE)

• Pay Rate: $28-32/hr
• Hours: 8:30am-5pm
• Location: Hercules, CA
• Type: ONSITE

Responsibilities

• The typical day consists of reviewing assigned work orders in preparation for job review and completion, performing assigned preventive maintenance activities, responding to urgent or emergency facilities issues, and investigating discrepancies within the facilities.
• Basic building maintenance activities, such as changing lights, replacing damaged ceiling tiles, troubleshooting basic plumbing and mechanical issues, patching and painting, and supporting other staff members.

Requirements

• Must have general maintenance skills (use of hand tools, general repair of plumbing, lighting, patching and painting). Experience working in commercial buildings is highly desired.
• Experience with CMMS work order management systems; AMMS is a plus.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Must be able to work with management and co-workers.
• Good customer service skills.
