We are seeking a skilled and dependable A/C & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, reach-ins, and air conditioning units.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and execute high-quality, efficient repairs.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and life span.
Maintain detailed service records, including diagnostics, parts used, and follow-up recommendations.
Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and building code standards.
Coordinate with other technicians and facility staff to minimize operational disruptions.
Stay up to date with evolving technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
EPA Section 608 Certification and valid HVAC license required.
Proficient understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control mechanisms.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Able to manage multiple service calls independently and efficiently.
Availability for after-hours, weekend work, and on-call rotation.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
Technical degree or trade school certification in HVACR.
Experience working with energy management systems or programmable controls.
Familiarity with local codes and commercial building standards.
