Where Is The Work

This position is designated as remote, with work performed in the Fishers, IN area.

What You Will Do

This role is the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers across diverse commercial sectors, including Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education, and Office Complexes. Responsibilities include commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting HVAC systems in a commercial setting. You will utilize your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. This position offers opportunities to work with both new facilities and retrofits, providing direct access to technical support, training on the latest technology, and career growth opportunities.

• Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
• Serve as the direct customer contact, responsible for products and equipment, ensuring satisfaction through diagnosis and repair.
• Use advanced software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of assets.

What You Will Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 5+ years of HVAC experience preferred. Technical training is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphones, tablets).
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major violations such as DUI, hit & run, or reckless driving in the past 3 years.
• EPA Certification.

Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure

• Ability to operate a vehicle safely and legally.
• Ability to wear safety gear including helmets, goggles, fall protection, and safety boots.
• Physical ability to twist, squat, reach, stand on concrete for extended periods, lift weights up to 40 lbs., and access rooftops and confined spaces.
• Exposure to variable weather, mechanical parts, heights, electrical hazards, and noisy environments.

Compensation

$28-38 per hour, based on experience. Actual pay may vary based on seniority, merit, and location.
