Job Description
What this job involves -
  • Operates, inspects, and maintains all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain the most efficient operating results and life expectancy.
  • Ensures equipment is maintained in an energy-efficient, safe manner, minimizing downtime by anticipating necessary repairs and keeping records of past experiences.
  • Performs inspections and repairs to property interiors and exteriors, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, lighting, etc.
What is your day to day?
  • Performs ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility systems and equipment.
  • Maintains, operates, and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
  • Conducts inspections and reports on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations.
  • Responds to emergencies effectively.
  • Prepares reports on conditions found and recommends actions.
  • Familiarizes with building equipment and systems, including automation and safety systems.
  • Follows safety procedures, maintains good housekeeping, and complies with relevant codes and laws.
  • Supports after-hours building activities as needed.
  • Attends training seminars and performs other operational tasks as assigned.
Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • Universal EPA 608 Certification
  • Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, especially HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
  • Willingness to perform on-call duties and overtime.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system design and application.
  • Experience managing work orders using CMMS technology.
  • Experience in a service role within commercial facilities.
Additional Information

Estimated total compensation: $58,240 - $74,880 USD per year. Compensation is an estimate and not guaranteed, based on various factors.
