Building Maintenance Technician

Join Dallas Market Center as a Building Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in maintaining our facilities. Your expertise will ensure our venue remains safe, comfortable, and efficient, contributing to a positive experience for exhibitors, buyers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, routine maintenance, and preventive inspections on HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Inspect HVAC components such as chillers, air handlers, and cooling towers to identify issues proactively.
• Assist with installing new HVAC units and overhauling major equipment.
• Address hot/cold complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor startup and shutdown of chillers, lighting, and escalators on a rotating schedule.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using the work order system.
• Support planning and execution of building maintenance projects.
• Respond to service requests and support after-hours events.
• Collaborate with team members on routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Level 3 HVAC Certification or HVAC License.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
