The South Dakota Developmental Center is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and community inclusion for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities through person-centered services. At SDDC we are comprised of a variety of positions that require differing skill and educational levels to ensure successful operations. SDDC is one of the Divisions of the Department of Human Services, which works together on the common goal of bettering the lives of South Dakotans.
Directs and supervises the activities of building maintenance and grounds staff in the operation and maintenance of buildings and grounds. Identifies areas needing repairs or improvements and assigning personnel and resources to make the repairs or improvements to enhance the appearance of and maintain the buildings and grounds of SDDC.
Valid Driver's License preferred.
An ideal Building Maintenance Supervisor is a strong leader who effectively schedules, trains, supports and monitors maintenance staff to ensure 24/7 facility safety and survey readiness.
