Performance Foodservice in Elizabeth, NJ, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of refrigeration systems, HVAC, and related equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance work, training maintenance trainees, and ensuring safety and quality standards while maintaining efficient product flow.

The role requires 3–5 years in maintenance/warehouse settings, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance/warehouse experience.
• Experience in foodservice environment preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Oversees and provides guidance to the maintenance crew to ensure safety regulations, procedures, quality standards and budget are met.
• Coordinates Maintenance work. Provides Maintenance Trainee training. Relieves Maintenance personnel for breaks.
• Performs the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of refrigeration systems, coolers, air compressors, HVAC systems and apparatus.
• Performs maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipment.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts and modifies facilities, buildings and grounds according to schedule, in emergencies and non-emergencies.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps maintenance area clean; secures equipment and completes reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with policies.

Observes all safety regulations and ensures quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Coordinates Maintenance work. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or

Equivalent Experience

• 3 - 5 years experience
• Warehouse and / or production environment experience.
• Experience in maintenance warehouse and / or production environment within foodservice industry preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Compensation

$55,600 - $79,300; 20% bonus opportunity on base salary
