Job summary

Kapco Metal Stamping in Grafton, WI is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building systems and equipment. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, basic mechanical service, and coordinating with vendors to handle larger mechanical or electrical work.

The ideal candidate will follow OSHA lockout/tagout procedures, operate safely, and be prepared to complete forklift and crane training as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
• Comfort with small engines, forklifts, and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and troubleshoots a range of building mechanical equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance with records, including small engines on forklifts.
• Conducts tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, belts and hose replacements.
• Coordinates with outside vendors for major mechanical/electrical work.
• Follows OSHA lockout/tagout procedures.
• Upholds safety procedures and enforces them.
• Forklift and crane training required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Kapco Inc. is looking for a Building Maintenance Technician in Grafton, WI.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs appropriate duties in the installation and maintenance and troubleshooting diagnosis of a variety of mechanical equipment for building applications
• Completes preventive and predictive maintenance on schedule with appropriate record keeping including small engines on forklifts and company cars
• Perform tune ups, oil changes, tire rotations, belts and hose replacements as needed
• Partners with outside suppliers contracted to do major mechanical and electrical installations and repair
• Understands and appropriately uses OSHA lock out / tag out requirements
• Follows all safety procedures and provides the guidance and enforcement of safety procedures and practices
• Forklift and Crane training required
• Other duties as assigned
