Kapco Metal Stamping is seeking a Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift at our Grafton, WI location. The role covers mechanical and electrical maintenance, preventive tasks, and close collaboration with manufacturing teams to ensure uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate will have forklift and crane training, adhere to OSHA lock out/tag out standards, and participate in improvement initiatives within a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe maintenance practices.
• Familiar with OSHA lock out/tag out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot mechanical equipment for machine and building applications.
• Perform mechanical and electrical work as needed.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance with proper records.
• Coordinate with outside suppliers for major installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and management personnel."

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform appropriate duties in the installation and maintenance and troubleshooting diagnosis of a variety of mechanical equipment for both machine and building applications .
• Includes mechanical and electrical work.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on schedule with appropriate record keeping.
• Work closely with outside suppliers contracted to do major mechanical and electrical installations and repair.
• Work closely and efficiently with all manufacturing and management personnel.
• Understand and appropriately uses OSHA lock out / tag out requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and provides the guidance and enforcement of safety procedures and practices.
• Work may involve the determination of the correct method and sequence of operation, selection or materials to be used, and work directly over other personnel.
• Forklift and Crane training required. May participate on improvement teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
