Job summary
Ryan Companies Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and manage tenant service requests in a downtown Des Moines, IA class B office tower.
The role includes on-call rotation and coordination with the Property Manager and Chief Engineer to ensure high-quality service and safety. The successful candidate will have 2+ years in commercial building operations, a technical background, and strong communication skills to support tenants
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in operation of commercial buildings and equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing building systems; ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Proficiency with CMMS and basic computer skills; strong communication with tenants and managers.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems as scheduled.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for preventive maintenance, repairs and projects.
- Respond to tenant service work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Work with the Property Manager and Chief Engineer to plan services and coordinate tenant improvements.
- Maintain mechanical rooms and utility spaces in a clean, organized condition.
