NCG Hospitality in Madison, WI is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant. The role supports hotel upkeep, responds to maintenance requests, and helps keep guest areas safe and functional.

Starting at $16.50/hour with potential for higher wages for experienced candidates, the position requires flexible availability and offers growth opportunities within a 35-hotel company. Morning and evening shifts include weekends and holidays.

Qualificações

• Prior hotel, building or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not necessary.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Ability to operate common power and hand tools.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to maintenance requests and support upkeep of the property.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as painting, detector checks, and HVAC cleaning.
• Maintain grounds, outbuildings, and parking areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Assist in pool/spa areas and respond promptly to guest reports.

How You'll Make an Impact

Our detail-oriented Building Maintenance Assistant responds to maintenance requests, and supports the overall upkeep of the property.

• Performs guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks andHVAC cleaning
• Maintains the grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe and attractive manner
• Assists in maintaining pool, spa and general area of the property according to specific local codes and brand standards
• Promptly responds to reports of guest problems and concerns

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring

• Prior hotel, building or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not necessary
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction
• Operation knowledge of common power and hand tools
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time and error free
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve
