Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Florida seeks an Inspector to perform building construction inspections, plan reviews, and compliance oversight across residential and commercial projects. The role requires coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure adherence to the Seminole Tribe Building Code and other regulations.

Candidates must hold Florida Inspector and Plans Examiner licenses, have 4+ years in structural construction (2+ in HVHZ), and possess a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• State of Florida Inspector and Plans Examiner Licenses are required.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in residential/commercial construction in the structural discipline with at least two (2) years in HVHZ.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blue-prints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software packages and written/verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building construction, including inspections requiring permitting to ensure compliance with building, accessibility and related codes.
• Review detailed plans and specifications; confer with architects, engineers, general contractors and other stakeholders.
• Assess plans and documents to ensure compliance and determine appropriate usage, and identify hazards or life-safety concerns.
