Qualifications

• High school or GED with vocational training in building construction or maintenance.
• Extensive experience in building maintenance including HVAC repair, electrical and plumbing, and minor carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair air conditioning and heating units to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor boiler unit operation and fix issues as needed.
• Repair electrical and plumbing problems and service door locks.
• Perform carpentry tasks and basic engine repairs on tractors and mowers.
• Respond to maintenance calls on a 24-hour basis when needed.
• Maintain courthouse clock accuracy and oversee supplies.
