Tarrant County is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service county buildings, ensuring preventive maintenance, repairs, and operation of emergency management systems. You will keep HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems running safely and efficiently across a variety of facilities.

The role requires at least three years of general maintenance and specialized experience, a high school diploma, and a Texas driver’s license.

Qualifikationen

• Three (3) years of general maintenance and specialized experience in HVAC, plumbing or electrical.
• Supervisory and training experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building operating systems with expertise in one area.
• Valid and current TX driver's license required.

3. Maintains and assists with plumbing repairs and assist with other associated building repairs.
4. Works with vendors and contractors. May oversee work and ensure that it is properly performed.
5. Provides other general building maintenance services.
6. Helps move furniture as needed.
7. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of A/C, plumbing, electrical and operation of chill water systems and boiler systems.
• Must have knowledge of building operating systems with expertise in one area.
• Valid and current TX driver's license required.

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to lift, carry, climb, stoop, walk, stand, sit, work indoors/outdoors with loud equipment, push, and pull. May be exposed to communicable diseases, various parasites, dangerous chemicals and electrical hazards. This position may require overtime, rotating shifts nights, evenings, weekends and holiday work. Candidates must have the ability to pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment.
