Job summary

Township Senior Services, Inc. is seeking a Facilities and Grounds Technician to maintain county buildings, equipment, and grounds.

You will perform skilled maintenance, inspect and repair HVAC systems, install and repair plumbing, electrical fixtures, and computer wiring, and keep security, audio/video, power equipment, and communication systems in good condition. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in skilled building maintenance or grounds

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled maintenance and repair work on county buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Inspects, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Installs and repairs plumbing, electrical fixtures, and computer wiring.
• Maintains security, audio/video, power equipment, and communication systems.
• Completes carpentry projects, services boilers and locks, assembles and moves furniture, and transports records and supplies.
• Maintains grounds by mowing, trimming, snow removal, and seasonal cleanup; repairs related equipment.
• Clears and treats parking lots and walkways.
• Operates various tools and equipment related to maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
