Van Buren County Government is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to assist in preserving county-owned buildings, grounds, and equipment and to provide a safe, healthy environment for employees and clients.
This role requires hands-on work with electrical systems, plumbing, heating, and HVAC, plus landscape upkeep, custodial tasks, and routine records. A valid driver's license is required, and the position offers a 37.5-hour work week with AFSCME pay.

Ability to lift/carry up to and in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders, crawl in small spaces, crouch, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to work outdoors and under somewhat adverse conditions.
