Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires education and/or experience equivalent to high school—GED accepted.
• Experience with building trades and maintenance tasks is preferred.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain major facilities systems in county buildings and ensure safe operation.
• Prioritize work orders and coordinate with vendors or contractors.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.
• Administer preventative maintenance schedules and safety compliance.
• Oversee landscaping, snow removal, and general grounds upkeep.
• Maintain inventories of tools, parts, and supplies.
