Anson County Facility Maintenance is currently seeking motivated candidates for part-time Maintenance Technician. Main duties include but are not limited to maintenance of all county owned facilities, the ability to work at different locations, and setting up/breaking down county sponsored events. Responsible for landscaping actions such as mowing, weeding, edging, spraying, cleaning work area, pruning, picking up and disposing of trash. Will report to the Building Maintenance Supervisor.
Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to perform light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally; and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently; and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Must possess the visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, perform accounting tasks, operate a computer terminal, do extensive reading, drive a motor vehicle, operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and blowers.
