Job summary

The Thomas Young Group in Boston seeks a senior professional to lead complex building enclosure projects, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships across the full lifecycle of a building.

You will conduct field inspections, lead meetings with clients and contractors, manage delivery, and pursue new business opportunities while coordinating with owners, architects, and project teams. This role offers direct leadership access and a strong mix of field work and consulting.

Qualifications

• Experience with restoration design and construction administration.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Experience leading projects with minimal oversight.
• Experience managing client relationships and project stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in mentoring staff.
• Experience with façade and parking garage inspections is highly desirable.
• Ability to balance technical consulting, project management, and business development responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducting field inspections and documenting restoration work in progress
• Leading project meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Managing project delivery and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
• Mentoring and supporting junior consultants and technical staff
• Performing façade and parking garage ordinance inspections
• Identifying opportunities for new and repeat business
• Preparing proposals and supporting project pursuits
• Coordinating with clients and project teams throughout project delivery
• Supporting marketing and relationship building efforts
