Job summary

Gresham Smith in Nashville is seeking a Project Manager with building engineering project leadership. Hybrid schedule, full-time, located at Gresham Smith’s Nashville office.

The role leads planning, design, and delivery of pump stations, storage, water and wastewater facilities, with strong client relations and team leadership. A PE is preferred; 10–15 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or Structural Engineering or comparable degree in Construction Management.
• Professional (P.E.) licensure is preferred but not required.
• 10-15 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project management including pursuits, client management, scope development and scheduling.
• Coordinate inter-discipline design, production, and quality control.
• Lead project teams, manage finances, and deliver technical reports and designs.
• Communicate goals clearly to project teams to meet client expectations.
• Lead planning studies and develop detailed designs for pumps, storage, and water/wastewater systems.
• Provide design method development, front-end coordination, and equipment sizing.
